ANNDI :: COSTS

   Pricing here at Anndi Photography is straight-forward and competitive. There are never any hidden fees and the prices you see are the prices you pay. We also offer many seasonal and promotional discounts which you can inquire about any time, as well as great packages. The best part is, if you find a photographer who says they'll do the job for less, just show us the ad and we'll match their prices for you. Here's the breakdown of costs:

   There is a one-time sitting fee is $20 and the hourly rate is $60. For every call-out job, there is a two hour minimum charge. Even if your photo shoot is less than two hours, you must pay for a minimum of two hours, so make the most of the time you have. The sitting fee and hourly payment are due, cash or cheque, up front at the time of your photo shoot.

   For each photo we take during your shoot, you pay $0.50 to have a proof made for viewing. This is mandatory and is due to our pricing system being based on an old film pricing system. Even though we shoot digital, this system saves you money. We shoot all photos in camera RAW format, which is not viewable on a computer until processed. The processing takes many hours, and you would have to pay hefty hourly fees for it, but instead we simply charge a small processing fee per photo. Shooting in camera RAW allows much greater control over lighting, exposure, detail, and other aspects of the photo.

   Once you have viewed the proofs of the photos taken during the shoot and chosen which ones you wish to buy, you pay an additional $0.50 per photo you choose for the purpose of rights. If you intend to use the photos freely in a variety of digital media, other costs may need to be discussed.

   If you choose to have any of the photos edited, it is at a cost of $80 per hour. On average, it takes half an hour per photo, depending on the requested work. This includes adding text or borders, changing from colour to black and white, or removing blemishes. Some photos may be offered in black and white, free of charge.

   Then it's up to you in which format you receive your photos. We offer plain format CDs at $30, slideshow DVDs at $50, and a variety of print and product options which you can price on the Products page. If you choose not to order prints or products, you must purchase your photos on a CD. Each CD or DVD only fits approximately 100 photos.

   If you decide you don't like any of the photos that have been taken, you are obliged to order a minimum of 100 photos, or if your shoot contains less than 100 photos, you must purchase 50% of all photos taken.

   The payment for your digital files, prints, CDs, and/or any other products you may order of your photos are due the day you place your order. We usually return within 3-5 days of your photo shoot to allow you to choose the photos you wish to purchase, along with print sizes and products. This date will be arranged at the time of your shoot, and may depend on how many photos are taken.

   When ordering photos, you agree that Anndi Photography retains all rights to those photos to be used on our website and in our portfolios for promotional and exemplary purposes.
   You agree that you only have the right to use your purchased photos in a personal manner and will not sell or redistribute them in any way.
   You agree that the right to display the photos you purchase on the Internet is at an additional cost, detailed below.
   You agree that replication of photos must remain for personal use, and is at your own risk.
   You agree that any photo shoot for marketing or advertising purposes will have underlying costs depending on the forms of media, amounts of media, and length of time for which the media will be used.
   You agree that all photos are invisibly watermarked and digitally traceable.
   Any violation of these agreements is subject to legal action.

   Usage and display of photos on the Internet requires a license at a cost of $95 per domain on which the photos will be displayed and an additional $25 per photo you intend to display online. A time limit is applied, up to a maximum of 12 months, after which point you must purchase a new license in order to continue displaying the photos on the Internet. You will be contacted at the time that your license expires to remind you to either renew it or remove the photos from the Internet. Optionally, you can display as many photos as you like on the Internet for as many months as you like for a monthly fee of $45 for a minimum of 12 months. Failure to meet the 12 month minimum results in a $90 cancellation fee and complete removal of all photos from the Internet.

   The above prices may not apply to certain types of photography, such as real estate, where instead packages are available depending on what you need. Please inquire about packages that may be available to fit what you need.

   Our most common real estate package is $375 and includes ten interior shots and five exterior shots. Video format pans of 360 degrees cost $50 extra per room. Additional photos are $25 each.

   Services are volunteered freely to non-profit organisations, excluding DVDs, videos, prints, and products.

   Unfortunately, we do not offer portraits, headshots, or backgrounds. White backdrops are available for product photography only.
